“Ah. The plot thickens.”
I turned around to see a better image of my reflection in the mirror. Checking myself out in the mirror felt weird but everything seems to be weird lately. There was no need for me to be anything about serious.
For the most part you could say my defining physical features remained the same. At once glance someone who knew me could identify me in a lineup. It wasn’t like their was really distinctive features to me in the first place. I was completely ordinary looking. One could say averagely cute but no exception. My face was small but round. My eyes small but with a curious glint, a sparkle of deviance in the works. My lips were small like rosebuds and may may have been the best feature on my face. My body was certainly not the most proportionate thing. I was short and curvy.
However, you could say there existed minor changes to the features that originally summed me up. For instance, my hair was now a medium fluffy pale pink- a color I would never pick. My eyes were a heterochromatic of a darker raspberry pink and a pale blue and two small protrusions sprouted from my shoulder blades. They were an opal color one might see on mythological reptilians from mythology books. Whether they were indicative of a reptile or a mythological dragon was something I could not tell. They felt weird.
My eyes, however, were something I understand. It seems it was linked to one of my ‘skills’ tied to my new race. It was the so called magic eyes that comic fans loved. I was a huge nerd that tried their best to fit in, so having these eyes were bringing up some cringy memories.
Another weird thing was my outfit. Why was I in a semi-normal outfit that somehow still felt themed? I had dark black combat boots, dark jeans that seemed to reflect a pattern in the light and to top it all off a large, but super comfy, sweater top. It was a pale green with side pockets and a tiny bunny head on the top right. It was totally themed to be a cute girl outfit. It is so embarrassing! A person shouldn’t look like a full time cosplayer on their rest day at a convention.
“Ah, screw this. I’m so sleepy.”
Seeing my new reflection in the mirror was hurting my head and dignity. I used my dungeon points (DP) to purchase a bed.
I may be in what looked to be a throne room but a person had to sleep comfortably. It was so warm and comfy as I closed my eyes.
