Etes found himself highly aware of this Betazoid’s small movements. She was irritatingly cocky as was the trait for lower life forms. Every answer from her seemed to have a silent reassurance behind it which made him question his more detailed analysis of her so far. As a lower life form her cockiness should not amount to much. However, even lower life forms had developed traits to survive. Her species had evolved themselves as nosy fake intellectuals. Perceive the danger before you could fall into it sort of gimmick. His eyes running over her. The question here was just how much that developed perception fed into that cockiness of hers. Sunsan was stupid enough to bring an individual he should not have here. He did it all the time with that beast anyways… Etes watched her stand up. The mention of his father would not allow his own facade to fade away. “Another folly for your species…” When her back turned to him he sighed. “Those idiots will swarm all over you.” Etes stood up himself after a few moments and fixed his attire. This events he had groomed himself to be so perfect for were to say colloquially ‘not his cup of tea’. He exited the balcony back to the hall. It was quiet. That alone indicated Sunsan had done something irritating. Etes’ eyes settling on the figure of an ‘unconscious’ Beast in the Dogs arms. A show? From that thing? His eyes had been on the Betazoid for too long. Etes turning to monitor the reactions of the crowd. For the most part it was predictable. He walked over to the Federation Members. A sympathetic expression being created on his face. “My apologies for everything.” One of the Admirals in attendance nodded his head. “There’s no need to apologize. It seems we were the ones working our children too hard.” The two if them doing their best to not show their dislike for each other. The Admirals wife turned to Etes. “Your attention on our cadets is always appreciated, Etes. But we are worried about your own young soldiers. If Romulans work twice as hard than you must have a few children that require a rest.” Etes shook his head tiredly. These exchanges were the bane of his existence. “Your worry for our Empire is noted. You will be glad to know then that Sunsan has been cleared for a vacation.” She smiled at his statement. His irritation with these specimens was growing. Why was it that they preferred Sunsan to him. WHY!? He was just as good looking by their standards. HE WAS SMARTER AND IN A MORE PROSPEROUS POSITION FOR THE FUTURE. The Admiral nodded his head. “Good… I’m glad our over worked children can get some rest.” Etes forced himself to smile. “I couldn’t agree more Admiral.”

Wells sat up quickly and fixed her clothing. She tapped the band on her wrist and a tiny screen appeared. Sighing, she sent out a few messages. The first group was of course to all the members of the after party.

After those were quickly typed and sent away. By falling for the trap and then by trying to get out of it she had created a bigger mess. She quickly sent off a message to the guest still at the venue.
Zletka,
A situation happened. I’m sure you have an idea of what. An escort is prepared to take you home. Leave now. An apology gift will be waiting for you.
Wells
She quickly sent off various messages to the other individuals and sighed into the limo. Marcus squeezing Rao as he looked at her. “Is it taken care of?” Wells looked at him annoyed. “WE will talk later.” She turned to look at Rao. Wells truly felt pity for this little shivering thing. They had not prepared her. She bent her head down to apologize. “My apologies Cadet Rao. I knew there was not enough time to prepare you for what Marcus brought you to.” She paused for a moment to glance at Marcus. “I had mistakenly assumed Marcus would at least attempt to prepare you to help avoid such circumstances.” Wells sat back up straight. “The majority of the people in that room would best to be assumed as enemies who wished to do you harm or neutral spectators. You were lured into a conversation to gain information and possibly some sort of power over you and Marcus. Marcus and I were supposed to be available to prevent anything and failed in our duty.” Wells bowed down again. “I am sorry for my incompetence in dealing with the situation.” She turned to look at Sunsan for a moment. “He apologizes as well for his incompetence.” Sunsan looked at her enraged. He had been spectating the whole thing and had been viewing it as an absurd comedy up to this point. “I’m not apologizing to this for HER incompetence.” Wells glared at him. “As in the case of Marcus, WE will talk later. As for now, apologize for not bringing unprepared guests into a warzone.” He turned his head on her. “SHE could of just said no.” Wells walked over to him in the car and pushed his head down. “HE apologizes for his species being assholes and for his willingness for you to be potentially hurt.” Sunsan sat back up at glared at Wells. However, he for some reason elected to remain silent.
…
Jaado had always found it hard not to laugh when these sort of things happened. If it was not for his wife that gently took his arm he would of broken his composure. It was a wonder on how he was the Ambassador and not her. Yobi smiled at him. “My love, it seems there is one missing.” He looked around. That’s true. The Betazoid cadet had accompanied them. For the Federation she was a wonderful choice to introduce. Cadet Zletka should of been at the forefront instead of their current problem child, Cadet Rao. The two stood there and watched everyone’s conversations. So many guests were exchanging jabs with each other. Maintaining an alliance with the Romulans was never any fun. Jaado looked down at his wife. He smiled at her. “Shall we go find the other cadet?” She nodded her head and pulled him through the crowd. Yobi had better eyes than him. Jaado allowing himself to be pulled through a crowd of people. Finally, they spotted her.. Yobi appearing in front of her quickly. “Cadet Zletka, right?” Jaado stepping forward. Just as he was about to speak his own wristband buzzed. He looked down at the name of the message and smiled. It seems she hadn’t forgotten. Jaado looking up at her. “It seems we have been requested to escort you back to your dorm.” Yobi latched her arms through the cadet’s. She really was very physical. “Let’s escape this madness together?”
